The 40-263-303 is a 12-channel PT1000 RTD Simulator. The 40-263 range is a cost effective method of simulating PT100, PT500 or PT1000 RTDs. It supports 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24 channels in one or two PXI slots. Also, channels are able to be set as short or open circuit to simulate faulty wiring to a sensor.

A grid simulator can be used to simulate the characteristics of low-voltage mains. For this purpose, all voltages and frequencies of the supply networks occurring worldwide can be simulated. Critical states such as short-term voltage dips or voltage peaks (surge/burst) can also be generated.The integrated sequencer function enables the generation of different network parameters, e.g. distorted waveforms and intermediate oscillations. The CPCI390 has a 3U form factor and features six 2-, 3-, or 4-wire high-accuracy RTD measurement channels. Each channel has programmable alarm limits on which an interrupt can be issued. The local DSP (TMS320C203) performs linearization, auto-calibration and alarm limit checking. Sensordata is available in °C, °F, K and Ohm. All inputs are optically isolated from the system.
