Air Temperature and Relative Humidity Sensors
Air temperature and relative humidity probes typically consist of two separate sensors packaged in the same housing. Often relative humidity is measured with a capacitive RH sensor, while air temperature is measured by a PRT.

Water Temperature Sensors
Campbell Scientific offers a variety of sensors for measuring water temperature. The electrical signals transmitted from the sensors to our dataloggers can be converted to different units of measurement, including °C , °F, and °K. Our dataloggers are also capable of measuring most commercially available water temperature sensors.

Wind Speed and Wind Direction Sensors
Wind vanes measure wind direction and are often used with anemometers, which measure wind speed. Campbell Scientific offers a variety of anemometer designs: cup, propeller, ultrasonic, sonic, and lidar. Most of our wind sensors are modified slightly from the manufacturers’ stock items so that they may be used with our dataloggers in research, air quality, and general purpose meteorological applications.

Dataloggers
CR800-Series
CR800-series dataloggers are smaller and designed for applications in which fewer sensors are measured. These dataloggers differ in their keyboard display, as one model offers an external keyboard display, and the other model includes an on-board keyboard display. Multiple CR800-series dataloggers can be configured as a network, or they can be deployed individually.

Turbidity Sensors
Turbidity sensors measure the amount of light that is scattered by the suspended solids in water. As the amount of total suspended solids (TSS) in water increases, the water's turbidity level (and cloudiness or haziness) increases. Turbidity sensors are used in river and stream gaging, wastewater and effluent measurements, control instrumentation for settling ponds, sediment transport research, and laboratory measurements.

Dataloggers
CR6-Series
CR6-series dataloggers feature universal (U) terminals, which allow connection to virtually any sensoranalog, digital, or smart. These multipurpose dataloggers are also capable of performing static vibrating-wire measurements.

Leaf Wetness Sensors
Campbell Scientific offers two types of leaf wetness sensors to measure the wetness of leaves: surface contact and electrical resistance. Surface contact sensors measure the electrical resistance of a water film on their surface. Electrical resistance sensors imitate the characteristics of leaves and measure the dielectric constant of their upper surfaces.

Water Conductivity Sensors
Water conductivity sensors are used in water-quality applications to measure how well a solution conducts an electrical current. This type of measurement assesses the concentration of ions in the solution. The more ions that are in the solution, the higher the conductivity.

Surface Temperature Sensors
Campbell Scientific offers two types of surface temperature sensors: infrared temperature (non-contact) and surface contact. Infrared temperature sensors measure the surface temperature of an object or surface by sensing the infrared radiation given off by the subject. Surface contact sensors attach directly to a surface and measure the temperature via physical contact.

Water Conductivity and Temperature Probe
CS547A-L
The CS547A is a water quality probe that measures both electrical conductivity (EC) and temperature. It connects to a Campbell Scientific datalogger via the A547 interface. This probe is compatible with most Campbell Scientific dataloggers.

LoggerNet Database Software
LNDB
LNDB is an application that enables you to easily move data from a LoggerNet data cache into a database such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL. Then you can use industry-standard software to access and query your data for reports. LNDB also comes with QuickReports, an application that allows you to generate simple reports from an LNDB database with just a few mouse clicks.
